Membership

The Puerto Rican Studies Association for Research Advocacy and Education, Inc. (PRSA) was founded in 1992 and incorporated in the State of New York. Currently, it is a 501[c](3) non-profit charitable organization under certification by the United States Internal Revenue Service.

As a member, you can vote and run for positions on the Executive Council, as well as vote on other issues related to the function of the organization. Additionally, PRSA members enjoy a discount on event registration as well as eligibility for our awards.

Membership Fee Structure

Valid through December 31, 2024

If you are a new member: Welcome to PRSA! Please follow the recommended steps described below to create an account and purchase a membership.

If your membership has lapsed, but you have an account set up on this site already:  Simply login and add a new membership at the appropriate tier to your cart. Then checkout to complete the purchase. Thank you for your continued membership!

If your membership has lapsed and you do not have an account set up on this site yet: Please follow the recommended instructions for creating an account and purchasing a membership below. We’re thrilled to welcome you back to PRSA!

 

Income Level-Based Tiers:

Tier A ($25,000 or under): $25

Tier B ($25,001-$50,000): $45

Tier C ($50,001-$75,000): $75

Tier D ($75,001-$100,000): $100

Tier E ($100,001 or over): $150

Creating Your Account

To create an account prior to checkout (RECOMMENDED): click on the “Login” button on the top-right of the website, then click on the “Create Account” link on the bottom of the pop-up window and follow site instructions from there. Once your account has been created, you may proceed to purchasing your membership at the appropriate tier.

To create an account at checkout, check “Create an account for faster checkout.”

Having an account is important! It helps us with record keeping, but also gives you access to your payment history. Please do not create an account twice!
